Pilot Rental Requirements
Cirrus SR20 Requirements
- Instrument Rating required for night flight operations
- Completion of a checkout flight with a JBA instructor
- Valid Cirrus Training Certificate (Transition VFR, IFR, or completion with a CSIP)
- Meet all insurance minimum requirements
- Recent flight experience within the last 60–90 days
Non-Instrument Rated Pilots: Overnight rentals in the SR20 (N311FP) may be approved without an Instrument Rating. However, renters must acknowledge that daily minimums will not be waived if delays occur due to weather and lack of IFR capability.
Cirrus SR22 Requirements

Minimum 250 hours total flight time
Minimum 50 hours in high-performance aircraft
Minimum 10 hours in make and model
Completion of a checkout flight with a JBA instructor
Valid Cirrus Training Certificate (Transition VFR, IFR, or completion with a CSIP)

Recent flight experience within the last 60–90 days
